8 July 2020 - A decision was made by Mayo County Council not to deploy visitor moorings this summer. The moorings are NOT gone forever, Mayo County Council still plan to deploy the moorings in 2021.

There are pontoons at Newport, Inishlyre, Westport Harbour, Kildavnet (Achill). Ballycroy/Innishbiggle.
