Finn Lynch is an Irish Olympic sailor and one of Ireland’s most accomplished competitors in the ILCA 7 class. A consistent presence on the international circuit, Finn has represented Ireland at two Olympic Games and multiple World and European Championships, competing against the strongest fleets in the sport.

After achieving the ranking of World No.2 in 2022 Finn went onto qualify Ireland in the ILCA 7 class for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He is Carlow born and first learned to sail on Blessington Lake at the age of eight in Co. Wicklow.

Following an impressive 2025 which featured three medals, including Gold in the Final, at the Sailing Grand Slam regattas, Finn has his sights set on qualification for Los Angeles in 2028. Beyond results, Finn is respected for his professionalism and role as a standard-setter within the Irish sailing team.
