Sailing Stories

We have had an incredible response to the Irish Sailing Stories series. If you missed them you can watch all our IRISH SAILING STORIES HERE.

  1. Dermot and Linda tell us all about how their dream of owning a boat turned into reality, even with no previous sailing experience. Now they spend their free days casually cruising along the beautiful Wexford coastline.
  2. Michal, from the Czech Republic, joined Bray Sailing Club as a complete beginner after moving to Ireland for work. Through dinghy sailing he not only found a physically intensive new sport, but also a welcoming community of people to make him feel at home and a way to destress and detach from the worries of everyday life.
  3. Leah-Ann and Donagh, father and daughter from Howth. After stepping onto a yacht to fill a space as a favour one Wednesday night, Leah-Ann was hooked and has sailed with her father every week since.
  4. Igor and Paola give us the top reasons why you should try windsurfing today. From an intense workout and freeing your mind to finding a community of likeminded people, they would encourage everyone to give it a try in a club near them.

If you are interested in finding a club near you to join like minded sailors head over here to our FIND A CLUB page.

And if you want some training to brush up on old skills or develop new choose your sport and FIND A CENTRE HERE.
