WORLD SAILING National Judges Seminar
Cork, Ireland January 26th and 27th 2019
For those wishing to become Regional Judges and National Judges or wishing to build their rules or event knowledge to become a race official
A World Sailing Seminar initiated by Irish Sailing and the Royal Cork Yacht Club and supported by World Sailing. Delivered by Chris Watts RYA, International Judge and Seminar Instructor and assisted by Mike O'Connor Irish Sailing, and International Judge and Umpire
Cost: €70 includes lunch both days - under 30's contact Sarah Louise for reduced rate
Dates: 10am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th of January 2019 in Royal Cork Yacht Club
Who: Open to any aspiring Judges with an interest in leading Protest Committees, chair hearings and assisting Event Organisers and Clubs before and during events. You should have had some prior racing experience, an interest in the rules and preferably some experience of protest hearings. The course fee includes the 2 exams (Regional and National) which are optional.
