  • Cork, Rochestown Park Hotel, May 30th 19:00 – 21:30

Non Irish Sailing Qualified Instructors

As a lot of organisations are no in the process of finalising their instructor requirements for the main summer season we would like to remind you that Irish Sailing have a formal policy in place for the use of Instructors with qualifications from National Governing Bodies other than Irish Sailing. Full details of the requirements can be found below, and for further information contact

Windsurfing Instructor CPD Weekend - postponed

Irish Sailing in conjunction with Jamie Knox Windsurfing are running an extended 2 day CPD workshop on the weekend of May 19th & 20th. In addition to facilitating the normal instructor re-validation requirements there will also be the opportunity for those who may have qualified at the new Get up & Go instructor level over the last three years to demonstrate their skills requirements to upgrade to full Go Windsurfing Instructor.

As Safeguarding 1 is now a requirement for all Irish Sailing instructors, if there is sufficient demand we would also hope to offer a Safeguarding 1 workshop on the Friday evening.

Booking is available online in the Irish Sailing shop and for any further information contact
