Windsurfing action heads to Cork this Sunday, 20 September, as Gecko Adventures in Courtmacsherry hosts a double-header featuring the Freestyle Frenzy and Munster Youth Championship.
The Munster Youth Championship will give young riders the opportunity to compete on the water, with results counting towards the National Youth Title. The event provides a chance for emerging windsurfers to test their skills, gain competition experience and battle for regional honours.
Alongside the youth championship, the Freestyle Frenzy will welcome windsurfers of all ages and abilities. Whether you are still getting comfortable sailing upwind and downwind or are a fully planing freestyler ready to showcase your latest moves, the event is designed to encourage participation, skill development and plenty of fun on the water.
With two events taking place side by side, Sunday promises a full day of windsurfing and a chance for riders of all levels to get involved.
