The World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) returns to Ireland with the Dublin Match Cup happening from September 24-27th at the National Yacht Club in Dún Laoghaire. The number of skippers has increased by four, taking the total number of skippers from twelve to sixteen this year.
Match racing is one of the fastest growing and accessible disciplines in the sport of sailing. This will be a weekend of intense, tactical and team-orientated racing as some of the best in the sport battle it out in winner-takes-it-all dual racing. This one vs one competitive format guarantees spectacular and strategic racing offering those who seek to spectate a glimpse into one of the most entertaining and exciting sailing in the sport.
