The Three Bridges Rally returns to Dublin on Saturday 5 September, bringing cruising boats together for a unique day on the River Liffey. Organised by the Cruising Association of Ireland, all boats will gather at Poolbeg Marina before heading up and down the Liffey in a parade at 14:30, led by the Lord Mayor of Dublin aboard a motor yacht. The fleet will then raft up overnight on the Liffey Pontoon beside the 3Arena.
The celebrations continue ashore at the Clayton Hotel, with dinner, presentations and entertainment planned for Saturday evening. Non-sailors are also welcome to join the evening festivities. On Sunday morning, boats will depart with the St Bridget at 11:00. Poolbeg Yacht and Boat Club is also waiving berthing charges and may host a social event on Friday evening, giving participants the chance to make a weekend of it.
A raffle will run in aid of the RNLI, with prizes supported by event sponsors including the Clayton Hotel and Marine Parts Direct. With sailing, a parade, an overnight stay on the Liffey and plenty of social activity, the Three Bridges Rally promises a memorable weekend on and off the water.
