RWE Renewables Ireland Limited is returning as title sponsor of Mayo Mayhem 2026, Ireland's largest annual windsurfing event, taking place this September in Belmullet, Co. Mayo. This event, Mayo Mayhem attracts some of the world's leading windsurfers to Ireland's Atlantic coastline, with competitors battling it out for valuable points on the World Windsurfing Tour.
Thanks to RWE's continued support, the event will once again have 3-Star World Tour status. This requires a guaranteed prize fund and professional event coverage, helping to attract top international competitors and showcase the event to a global audience.
The partnership is a natural fit, bringing together wind-powered watersports and renewable energy in one of Ireland's windiest and most spectacular coastal locations.
