With 14 wins from 21 completed races, the Irish team put together a strong and consistent performance at the 2026 Team Racing World Championship in Stockholm, earning the opportunity to participate in the final day of racing where they faced Bermuda.
The squad was made up of Tom Higgins, Jaime McMahon, Henry Higgins, Fiona Ferguson, Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, Fionn Lyden, Clíodhna Ní Shúilleabháin and Sally O'Flynn, who worked together throughout the championship to secure a series of impressive results against international opposition.
With fifth place on the line, they overcame Bermuda with a 1–2 combination to secure the win and confirm an excellent fifth-place finish overall at the World Championship.
