Everyone learns differently and the Irish Sailing Passport (Checklick) is designed to support expectations and each sailor on their own journey. It helps instructors provide meaningful feedback and identify the next steps in a participant's own development, supporting continuous improvement every time they get on the water.
Earlier this year, Irish Sailing made the decision to remove all fees associated with Checklick, reinforcing our belief that every learner should have access to the platform and receive quality, individual feedback throughout their learning journey. It's been encouraging to see more Training Centres and instructors using Checklick effectively this summer to evaluate skills, recognise achievement and set personal improvement goals based on each sailor's ability.
To make administration even easier, we've developed a series of short video walkthroughs, including how to bulk upload participants using a spreadsheet before completing evaluations by group.
