Irish Sailing's Eve McMahon continued her outstanding season with victory at the ILCA North American Championships in San Pedro, Los Angeles, which is the next Olympic venue.
McMahon produced a consistent series throughout the regatta to secure the overall title, finishing comfortably ahead of Switzerland's Anja Von Allmen in second place, with Poland's Agata Barwińska completing the podium in third.
There were also strong performances from the Irish ILCA 7 fleet, with Finn Lynch delivering a consistent regatta and a ninth place finish ninth overall, while Ewan McMahon secured 16th place against the highly competitive international field.
The performances across both fleets reflect the continued strength and depth of Irish Sailing's high performance programme, with Irish sailors continuing to compete successfully against some of the world's leading ILCA athletes.
