The Irish Match Racing National Championships 2026 took place at the National Yacht Club over the weekend of 23–24 May, organised by the Irish Match Racing Association.
Eight teams competed in Elliott 6m sportsboats, with close tactical racing throughout the championship.
Tom Higgins, Jamie McMahon and Henry Higgins emerged as overall winners after a strong and consistent series across the weekend.
Second place went to Ruairi Finnegan, Luke Finnegan and Donal Walsh, while Adam Leddy, Ben Lumley and Evan Smith secured third overall.

The event once again highlighted the growing strength of match racing in Ireland, with a competitive fleet, high-quality racing and strong performances across the weekend in Dún Laoghaire Harbour.
