This year’s ICRA National Championships 2026 will take place as part of Cork Week 2026, hosted by Royal Cork Yacht Club from 6–10 July.
Combining the ICRA Nationals with one of Ireland’s best-known regattas promises a strong week of racing both on and off the water, with classes catering for a wide range of boats and crews.
Alongside the highly competitive championship fleets, the event will also include Coastal and Non-Spinnaker classes, ensuring opportunities for sailors of all experience levels to take part. National Championship titles will be contested across both IRC and ECHO divisions, with close racing expected throughout the week.
The regatta entry fee includes berthage at the Royal Cork Yacht Club marina for the duration of the event, while craneage facilities will also be available for trailerable boats. Visiting competitors wishing to arrive ahead of the regatta can arrange additional berthage directly with the club.
Crosshaven continues to be one of Ireland’s premier sailing destinations, offering excellent shoreside facilities, accommodation options and the renowned hospitality associated with Cork Week. The Royal Cork Yacht Club will once again become the social hub of the regatta, with live entertainment and post-racing activities running throughout the event.
For many crews, Cork Week is as much about reconnecting with friends and the wider sailing community as it is about competition on the racecourse. With strong fleets expected and a busy social programme planned, the 2026 edition looks set to deliver another memorable championship week for Irish cruiser racing.
