Kinsale Yacht Club Host Local Race Officer Course.
Kinsale Yacht Club was host to a Local Race Officer course last weekend, which attracted eleven attendees from the home club as well as neighbouring clubs.
The content was delivered by very experienced races officers, John Stallard and Michelle Kennelly who worked as a team to support the attendees. The Irish Sailing Local Race Officer module consists of one day in the class room where all aspects of good race management are discussed.It is viewed as being the foundation block to building solid knowledge on how to manage club racing in a fair and safe manner.
