Irish Sailing are working with Pieta House to support the annual Darkness into Light campaign. This year, the event will take place at dawn on Saturday 11th May 2024.
Irish Sailing are seeking expressions of interest from any club/class/group thinking about taking part. We aim to bring clubs together with a workshop, discuss how Irish Sailing can support through communication channels, discuss safety considerations, and promote the mental health benefits of our sports.

Each year Darkness into Light provides an opportunity for people to connect with their local community and to bring hope to people who have been impacted by suicide. This will be Irish Sailing's third year taking part in this campaign that continue's to raise awareness and hope in the global fight against suicide and self-harm
