Instructor Discipline Conversion

An Instructorship Conversion is when you qualify your existing instructorship to another discipline or scheme.

Existing instructors may have enough experience to add additional Instructorships to their belt under a different discipline. This is known as a Conversion.

If instructors are completing a Conversion within their existing scheme, it is a 2-day Conversion.
eg. a Dinghy Instructor to a Keelboat Instructor (both are within the SBSS scheme).

If instructors are completing a Conversion between different schemes, it is a 3-day Conversion.
eg. a Windsurfing Instructor to a Powerboat Instructor (one is the Go Windsurfing scheme, the other is the NPTS).

A relevant discipline pre-entry assessment, within the last 12-months is required for all Instructor Conversions.
