From Malin Head to Mizen, Ireland's Training Centre network is ready for the 2026 season.
Irish Sailing's network of recognised Training Centres spans the length and breadth of Ireland, from coastal clubs to inland lakes, estuaries and harbours, each centre delivers structured, quality-assured tuition in sailing, powerboating and windsurfing to thousands of participants every year.
Training Centres are assessed against Irish Sailing's Recognition Requirements, covering instructor qualifications, equipment standards, safety procedures and programme delivery. Regular support visits help ensure these standards are consistently maintained.
Behind every recognised centre is a team of qualified instructors, many of them volunteers, giving their time to introduce people to the sport and support their progression.
