Irish Sailing has confirmed three key dates in the 2026 calendar, with the Awards, National Conference and AGM/EGM taking place across March.
The first major event will be the annual Irish Sailing Awards on Thursday 5 March 2026 at the National Maritime Museum. The Awards recognise excellence across Irish sailing, celebrating international achievement alongside the dedication of clubs, volunteers and training centres nationwide. Categories include Irish Sailor of the Year, Youth Sailor of the Year, Woman on the Water, Race Official of the Year, Event of the Year and the Dubarry Team of the Year. The evening will be hosted by Pamela Lee and Justin Cullen.
The Irish Sailing National Conference will follow on 12 March 2026 at Lough Derg Yacht Club. The Conference provides an opportunity to outline plans and strategic priorities for the year ahead, while inviting feedback and discussion from clubs, training centres, classes and individual members.
Finally, the AGM and EGM will be held together on 25 March 2026 at Lough Ree Yacht Club. The AGM enables members to review activities, finances and governance, while the EGM will address specific matters requiring member approval.
