Who can apply
New or established sailing clubs, class associations and community organisations operating in Ireland.
 

How to apply

  1. Complete the Club Affiliation Application Form.

  2. Email the form to info@sailing.ie with the documents below.

  3. Applications are reviewed by the Irish Sailing Board of Directors.

  4. We’ll notify you of the decision by email.
     

What to include with your email

  • Constitution / Articles of Association

  • Membership

  • Recent club / class publications (e.g., newsletter or yearbook, if available)

  • Completed Club Affiliation Application Form

Data note: Member information is used solely for affiliation and compliance purposes in line with data protection regulations.
 

Fees & Timing

  • Clubs affiliating after 30 September are not invoiced for the remainder of that year.

  • Upon Board approval, they receive Temporary Affiliation Status until March, when fees fall due.

New clubs often require help developing their policies and procedures and established club committees change regularly and need support. Irish Sailing can help you develop your club, increase participation, advise on funding applications and assist with creating and implementing policies and procedures.
