Irish Sailing has opened the Inland Waterways Motorboat Training Scheme for feedback. The review is designed to ensure the scheme continues to meet the needs of instructors, training centres and participants, while remaining aligned with current operating environments, safety standards and recognised good practice.
Through this consultation, Irish Sailing is inviting feedback from across the boating community. Contributions are encouraged from clubs, centres, instructors and other stakeholders, with a focus on the effectiveness of the current syllabus, opportunities for improvement and any suggested refinements that would strengthen delivery and outcomes.
This process reflects Irish Sailing’s commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration, ensuring its training schemes remain relevant, practical and responsive to the evolving needs of inland waterways users.
