Taking place on Thursday 5th March at the National Maritime Museum, Dún Laoghaire, this flagship event will celebrate excellence across the sport, from grassroots participation to Olympic and international success.
The awards recognise the sailors, volunteers, clubs, and officials who continue to raise the standard of sailing in Ireland. This year’s categories reflect the full breadth of the community, celebrating emerging talent, outstanding commitment behind the scenes, and elite performance on the world stage. New for 2025 is the Race Official of the Year award, acknowledging the expertise, dedication, and time that go into officiating our sport at every level.
At the 2024 awards, Tom Dolan claimed Irish Sailing’s Sailor of the Year, presented by Afloat.ie, following his historic Figaro du Solitaire victory, while Sienna Wright was named Youth Sailor of the Year, presented by the Irish Sailing Foundation.
Save the date, Thursday 5th March, and join us for an evening that celebrates the people who make Irish sailing what it is. Invites will be issued through Irish Sailing.
