RS200 and RS Feva National Championships

Greystones Sailing Club hosted the RS200 and RS Feva National Championships over the weekend. Congratulations to Marty O’Leary and Kevin O’Rourke, winners of the RS200 fleet, and to Emily and Annabel Ridout, who topped the Feva class.

All crews deserve huge credit for handling challenging conditions across both days. On Saturday, strong winds delayed racing for an hour while conditions eased. Sunday brought a powerful tide that tested competitors on the start line.

In the Feva fleet, the racing grew closer as the event progressed — a promising sign ahead of the class’s inclusion in the Irish Sailing Youth Nationals at Ballyholme YC next April.

Special thanks go to the organising committee for delivering a superbly run event. Their efforts bode well for the upcoming Beneteau 31.7 National Championships, which GSC will host later this month.
