Make sure your club is fully compliant ahead of the summer season!
This year irish Sailing are ensuring that all Clubs and Training Centres are compliant with Sport Ireland regulations, in regardsto your clubs Centre Recognition Status.
The following roles (as they apply to your club or training centre) must hold current Irish Sailing Garda Vetting in order for us to be in a position to issue the Centre Recognition Certificate.
- Centre Principal,
- Training Centre Manager (if different)
- Club Training Officer
- Junior Organiser,
- Children's Officer (SG2)
- Designated Liaison person (SG3)
In addition to this all personnel are required to hold the valid Sport Ireland Safeguarding certification relevant to their role in the organisation, we have a number of workshops coming up and all our safeguarding workshops can be found on the Irish Sailing Shop here: Irish Sailing > Shop
