Training Centre Recognition Renewals
The Irish Sailing Training Dept is currently working through the annual renewal process for the 114 accredited Training Centres currently delivering Irish Sailing certified training courses.
At this stage the renewal documentation will have been sent to the current registered Centre Principal for the organisation. If you are the responsible in your organisation and have not yet received this or if there have been any changes in the training personnel in your organisation please email training@sailing.ie to update us and ensure we are communicating with the correct person.
This year we have updated the Safety Self Declaration document which must be submitted to include important contact information for those involved in Safeguarding in your organisation. This information is required to ensure that we have the correct information on our Safeguarding database and that those carrying out roles in your organisation have the appropriate Garda Vetting and Safeguarding training.
The fully completed Safety Self Declaration must be returned and the Vetting and Safeguarding requirements must be verified before the Training Centre Recognition can be issued.
