International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft (ICC)
Irish Sailing have successfully completed an audit by the Department of Transport with approval to issue ICC renewed for a further 5 years.
In the report the auditor noted that “The processes employed by Irish Sailing to implement the requirements of UNECE resolution 40 are robust. Irish Sailing’s approval to issue International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft (ICC) should remain”
The audit did identify that Irish Sailing and a number of our Training Centres are incorrectly referring to the document as International Certificate of Competency rather than the correct title of International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft (ICC).
