ILCA ‘Connachts’ to be used to Award ILCA 4 Irish Sailing Youth National Prizes 2024
Following Storm Kathleen denying the ILCA 4 Class any competitive sailing at the Irish Sailing Youth Nationals at Royal Cork Yacht Club in early April, ILCA Ireland have very kindly agreed to allow the ILCA Connachts to be used as a trophy event for the ILCA 4 category for the Irish Sailing Youth Nationals. Prizes will be awarded by Irish Sailing to the top three sailors (aged under 17 at the 31/12/24) in the fleet.
The event is scheduled to take place on the 27th & 28th of April in Lough Ree Yacht Club. Details of the event can be found here:

The Awarding of the Prizes to the top three U17 ILCA 4 sailors is solely at the discretion of Irish Sailing and ILCA Ireland will not be involved in awarding of the prizes or otherwise.
Topper Ireland also hope to leverage an upcoming Topper event during the month of June to award their Irish Sailing Youth National prizes. More details will follow over the coming weeks regarding this event.
