This coming June, the Irish Sailing Southern FireFly Fleet is scheduled to finish its time spent in the Royal Cork Yacht Club.The fleet has been extensively used by many schools, colleges, adults and was also availed of for National team racing events. Sincere thanks to Richard McGlade and the Royal Cork for accommodating such great activity in the team racing space in recent years.
In the interst of fairness, this fleet will now look for a new home within another club located in the South of Ireland. Expressions of interest would be welcome from any club who may wish to manage the firefly fleet for an initial twelve month contract. The desire is that the fleet will be availed of by as many persons as possible.
