Galway Bay Sailing Club (GBSC) Host Race Official Training Weekend.
Twenty three participants gathered in GBSC over the weekend and completed a number of Race Official modules covering Race Officer training , Safety Lead training , Recording of race results and protest committee procedure. The courses were structured to add value and knowledge at a local level to the various aspects of ensuring good race management.
GBSC members have completed some significant work to their clubhouse over the last 12 months and now has two state of the art training rooms on the ground floor and an extremely impressive boat house building on the club grounds which will be invaluable assets when hosting sailing events into the Future.
