HISTORY

The organisation’s identity has evolved over time, from its origins as the IDRA, through subsequent entities including the IYA, the Irish Sailing Association, and the ISA, before assuming its present designation as Irish Sailing. Throughout this evolution, it has remained an institution established by Clubs, for the benefit of Clubs, the sport of sailing and members.
