Irish Sailing Passport (Checklick) FAQ

For technical support and troubleshooting - support@checklick.com

Every Learner should have a Passport to develop their skills.
To comply with our Safeguarding practices, parents should create the account of any young person under 16.
This account should have the young persons name and date of birth, but their parent email login and contact information.

Once you have created your account, be sure to affiliate to an accredited Irish Sailing Training Centre (via the dropdown). You can affiliate with as many or as few as you like - this gives the Training Centre access to your learner profile.

The Checklick Manager of an accredited Training Centre you are affiliated with can reset your password.
For other technical support and troubleshooting - support@checklick.com

Just be sure to affiliate with each Training Centre you are engaged with!
Training Centres can then see you progress, previous experience and feedback from your Instructors.

All personal proficiency skills and certificates up to and including Instructor Pre-entry Assessments are recorded on Checklick.
All other Instructor qualifications and State qualifications (ICC and Commercial Endorsements) are recorded on your Irish Sailing Portal.

For Learners and Instructors
It’s 100% free to create and use a Checklick account as a Learner or Instructor. You can track skills, view feedback, and access certificates at no cost.

For Training Centres
€4.00 per active learner per year

  • Each active learner costs €4.00 per year, regardless of how many courses, disciplines, or certificates they complete.

  • A learner can be enrolled in multiple programmes — the centre still pays only once per year per learner.

  • There is no charge for learners who remain affiliated but receive no evaluations, feedback, or certificates during the year.
