Irish Sailing is pleased to welcome Brendan McCarthy to the organisation on a full-time basis as the new Accounts Manager.
Brendan will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of Irish Sailing, supporting budgeting, reporting, payroll, compliance and audit processes, while helping to ensure strong financial governance across the organisation.
He brings more than 20 years of experience leading finance functions within large and complex organisations. A Fellow of the ACCA with an MBA, Brendan has extensive expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, systems improvement and stakeholder support.
His experience working within regulated environments, managing substantial budgets and improving operational processes will be a valuable addition to Irish Sailing as the organisation continues to develop and modernise.
