Mark your diary, set your course and get training.

Exciting sponsor announcement coming soon

Here's a taste of what to expect ...

Keelboats will follow the ECHO Standard handicap system, while dinghies will follow Portsmouth Yardstick or own fleet. Of course the event will be ECO friendly with eco signs, no unnecessary printing, no single use plastic and easily accessible hydration.

All boats must be helmed by a female helm aged 16 or over and in order to encourage male helms to swap rolls to crew, we are allowing male crew, with all crew at least 50% female (including helm).

Team entries are encouraged to get that competitive tribal energy flowing, so you can enter as a team, as well as an individual boat. A team is 3 boats from one Irish Sailing affiliated club and can be a combination of boat types or as an Irish Sailing affiliated class.

Charter boats may be available but very limited, details will be shared soon.

“So what about the social?”, I hear you cry:   Saturday 17th will be a banquet evening of casual dress, music, good food and craic for all. On Sunday we can relax and enjoy the atmosphere with a post sailing BBQ.

There will be plenty of prizes and awards over the weekend …

  • Perpetual Irish Sailing Club Team Trophy
  • Overall fleet prizes
  • Silver Salver (it’s a hair thing!)
  • All Female Crewed
  • Top Teen
  • And a whole lot more

Full NOR coming soon.

#20x20   Female helms currently stand out from the crowd in a male dominated sport, let’s change that …. #SupportHerSport
