WOMEN'S MATCH RACING COACHING 2010

Women's Match Racing Coaching- Dublin July 17th and 18th

Mary O'Loughlin and the Royal St. George Yacht Club are planning on holding some women's match racing training in the SailFleet J80 fleet in July.
This is a great opportunity for those with good sailing knowledge and experience, to improve their skills in this new and exciting discipline of sailing. The Irish Match Racing Tour is really taking off, and offers weekend sailing against the top, as well as upcoming sailors.
The use of the ISA SailFleet means that boats are provided- hassle free! A fully refundable damage deposit is required per team in advance of SailFleet events.

This training is very much in the planning stages, but it is hoped that we will meet Saturday morning, have a quick briefing and an introduction to the Match Racing basics, followed by 5 hours of on the water practise (with a stop for lunch).
We will try and organise a dinner etc for Saturday night.

On Sunday we hope to have a mini round-robin competition, including proper umpires and officials. The top two teams will win an invite to the Women's Match Racing Nationals that will (hopefully) be held in Kinsale Yacht Club on the 9th and 10th of October.

This training is open to all ages of experienced female sailor. We can cater for a maximum of 30 women/girls, so get your interest in early to avoid disappointment!
