Open day at Glandore Yacht Club
Would you like to go sailing in Glandore?
Have you thought of owning a boat?
Why not sail your boat in one of the most beautiful harbours in Ireland
Glandore Harbour Yacht Club is having an OPEN DAY on Saturday 29th May for anyone who would like to try their hand at sailing. Just turn up. Bring deck shoes and waterproofs ( a life-jacket if you have one).
You will meet club members, get taken out on the water and be shown what Glandore has to offer to the sailor, whether competitive or purely for relaxation.
A number of Dragons and sailing cruisers will be available, with their skippers, to show you the ropes.
There will be a get-together at the end of the session in the Glandore Inn Lounge (courtesy of Kieran & Deirdre) to send off George Radley who is doing the Round-Ireland race this year under the colours of Glandore.
