VOR GALWAY: LAUNCHING AND PARKING FACILITIES FOR VEHICLES & OTHER VESSELS
In association with Lets Do It Galway and the Volvo Race Management, Galway Bay Sailing Club has been asked to provide launching and parking facilities for RIBS and other vessels. It should be noted that GBSC have the only launch and park facilities in the Greater Galway Area - there are no such facilities in Galway City - and it is possible that the Garda traffic management during the Volvo stopover may not allow RIB's or other such vessels into the city. A parking spot may be reserved by contacting the Club Manager, John Lowther, at 091 794527. Details of tarriffs can be had on the club website, www.gbsc.ie .
