CLUB PROFILE: ACHILL BELMULLET POWERBOAT CLUB
Achill Belmullet Powerboat Club was established in June 2008.
The idea stemmed from a local boating weekend that was held in May of 2008.
From the success of this event and the huge interest shown and also considering the increasing amount of boating activity around the island, it was clear that Achill would be a prime location for the establishment of a Powerboat Club.
After liaising with and receiving a substantial amount of advice from Denis Dillon (ISA Motorboat Development Officer) ‘Achill-Belmullet Powerboat Club’ was born!

July 24th-26th – ISA National Powerboat Games 2009
Achill Belmullet Powerboat Club will host and organise the first ever National Powerboat Games in Ireland in conjunction with the ISA. This is a weekend not to be missed! It will begin with the opening on the Friday night, games/activities and competitions over Saturday and Sunday respectively and the final presentation of prizes on Sunday night. So far there has been a keen interest in this event, which is open to both ISA and non-ISA members. If you would like to enter this event click here
