Fastnet Line is a new, independent company, set up in April 2009 following a long public campaign to reintroduce this much-missed car ferry service. It is funded by a co-operative of small private investors mainly from Cork, Kerry and South Wales, which has led to it being dubbed “The Peoples’ Ferry”.
We are a very new company - but our executives and managers have years of experience in ferry, hotel and customer-service environments - and we aim to make the new Swansea to Cork Route ferry service the most convenient and comfortable way to cross the Irish Sea.
