APPLICATION FORMS

PLEASE read the following notes as all the forms should be handled in the same way;

Instructions:

1. Read the notes in relation to the form you need.
2. Click on the link for the form you need.
3. WHEN YOU GET THE OPTION TO 'OPEN' OR 'SAVE' THE FILE, CHOOSE 'SAVE' TO KEEP IT ON YOUR COMPUTER. (We suggest your Desktop for ease of access)
4. Complete the form, attach as a file and forward it to racing@sailing.ie
 
Please read the IMPORTANT notes below:

The forms are in Microsoft Office Excel 2003 format. When you click the link it will either open on your screen or download depending on your computer settings. Save the file with the name of your boat and sail number in this format “BoatName_SailNo.xls” to your computer desktop or other document file for access later. You will now be able to work on the file offline before attaching the completed form to an email for racing@sailing.ie.

MAC USERS: The forms are Microsoft Office Excel 2003 format. If you have 'Office for Mac' installed, the form will work OK, don’t use another application to open the files as the information we require may be incomplete.

In all cases make sure that you save in the ‘.xls’ format, especially if you have a newer version, as the system cannot handle other versions of Excel yet.

PLEASE DELETE ANY PREVIOUS VERSION OF THE IRC APPLICATION FORMS THAT YOU MAY HAVE BEEN USING. Only the new version of the application form must be used from now on.

Explanatory Notes may be repeated on the application forms. Correct completion helps avoid errors unnecessary delays for you in processing.

1. If you have not already done so, please read the general application notes
2. Please enter dates as year only YYYY (i.e. 2007)
3. Yes and No boxes do not automatically switch - please do not tick both boxes!
4. Please do not put N/A in any of the boxes which require a measurement, as this is not understood by the import program. (Relevant cells contain validation requirements which should not allow this anyway).
5. Please choose the most suitable descriptions from the various drop-down boxes. If there is not a suitable choice, choose "other" and give details in the Comments box at the end of the form, or in the cover message of your e-mail if necessary.
6. Please complete the form and return it to us by e-mail to racing@sailing.ie
7. If you would prefer not to include your card details on the application form, please note this in your cover message and telephone us with the details (01 2710104), or fax them to 01 2807558 stating your name and contact number, and the yacht name & sail number to which they refer. We will not begin processing until we receive your payment details.
