Founded in 1968, Greystones Sailing Club is located in the heart of Greystones. The club has an active training and sailing program in both junior and instructor training and has organised all manner events including a hugely successful Women on the Water day in 2011.

Irish Offshore Sailing was established in November 2010 by Yachtmaster Instructor Rónán Ó Siochrú. Rónán’s goal is to bring sailing in Ireland to a wider audience by providing affordable sailing courses to teenagers and adults of all ages. Irish Offshore Sailing is located in Dun Laoghaire Harbour and provides ISA Yachtmaster and Cruising training to its participants. The school has made quite an impact and has been nominated for ISA Training Centre of the Year by the public in its first year of business.

The Royal St George Yacht Club is located in the heart of Dun Laoghaire Harbour in County Dublin. It has a long history of providing sail training to both adults and juniors and has produced sailors and instructors who have gone onto compete and cruise in every corner of the world. The Royal St. George runs ISA courses in sailing dinghies, keelboat and powerboats.

Located just five minutes from Galway City, Rusheen Bay Windsurfing is situated in an enclosed bay. Its calm waters and prevailing cross-onshore winds makes it the perfect place for beginners. The centre underwent a tremendous revival in 2011 under the direction of Danny Mulrayn. Described by clients as providing “excellent service” and as having “excellent equipment and staff of a very high standard”, Rusheen Bay ensures us that the future of windsurfing in Ireland is in the right hands.

The ISA 2010 Training Centre of the Year winners are back to defend their title. Situated on the sheltered shores of Lough Derg, University of Limerick Activity Centre has been in operation for over a decade. ULAC provides a varied programme of adventure activities to the general public. The Centre runs courses in dingy sailing, windsurfing and powerboating as well as ISA Emergency Care.
