- Discipline Specific revalidation weekends to focus on individual schemes.
Following feedback received from instructors and trainers after the last Instructor Conference the format for revalidation conferences has been changed. The single bi-annual National Instructor Conference will be discontinued and replaced with a series of two day Instructor revalidation workshops which will be run
every year.
The two day workshop will provide us with an opportunity to;
· Brief Instructors on development within sport, scheme & ISA, review their own personal skill and develop instructor skills & knowledge
This will be done by;
½ day – Shorebased briefing & admin
½ day - Review of shorebased knowledge and waterbased skills leading to personal action plan as necessary.
1 day – Instructors delivering sessions they have identified as of interest with peer / Trainer review.
Each workshop will have 10 places and will be run by 1 Instructor Trainer. Workshops will be run and administered by ISA. If you are interested in attending one of the courses below please either contact Nuala at training@sailing.ie with your name, Instructor Scheme/Course of interest and venue you wish to attend, or go directly to the ISA Shop where you can book and pay for your chosen course.
