A man walking on Sandymount beach this evening had a lucky escape when he became cut-off by the incoming tide and was rescued by the new RNLI inshore lifeboat from Dun Laoghaire.

Limerick Riverfest 2011
The organisers of Limerick’s Riverfest invited Local ISA clubs to take part in the festival.  Cullaun Sailing Club, Foynes Yacht Club & Lough Derg PWC & Powerboat Club accepted the invitation as this was a wonderful opportunity to promote and develop their clubs. Getting together they decided to give an on the water demonstration showing off the different ways in which the public can get involved in watersports.
