 ISA All Ireland Championships

The host club is Lough Derg Yacht Club, October 7-9, 2011, invitations will be sent to affiliated classes for their nominations shortly.

Make sure that your Class has paid the Affiliation Fee otherwise it won't be able to participate on the Event.

Powerboat Racing:

The next events are taking place at:
  • Ballyronan, near Cookstown, on Lough Neagh on August 21
  • Scraggane in Kerry on September 4
  • Foynes Yacht Club on September 18.

ICRA Championships:

ICRA Championships were hosted in Royal Cork Yacht Club, Crosshaven the 17th -19th June 2011.

Sovereigns Cup:

Kinsale Yacht Club welcomed over 100 boats all over Ireland, UK and New Zealand for the Sovereign’s Cup 2011 hosted from the 22nd June to the 25th June.

After 4 days regatta, Anthony O’Leary, ANTIX,  brought home the trophy for the third time. His first victory was in 1996 on his 1720 Sportboat.

David Scott, EOS, won the Portcullis Trophy under ECHO handicap system.

FIREBALL World Championships:

Fireball World Championships were hosted in Sligo.

Best of the Irish, in 10th overall is Noel Butler & Stephen Oram followed by Kenny Rumball & Seamus Moore in 12th and Simon McGrotty & Tony Fitzgerald in 13th.

The Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta:

The Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta was hosted the 7th -10th  July 2011

For Optimist Sail Number the Measurement Book will be required. If you don’t have it please contact Sally Burnett on to organize the Measurement Book Replacement.

Affiliated Classes

Keep us updated with your new Committee Member details, email with any changes. 

If your Class hasn’t still paid the Affiliation Fee for 2011 (€110) please contact Dorleta on 01-2710104 or by email. Then order your 6 ISA medallions for free.

Note that the Class won’t be able to participate in the "ISA All Ireland Championships" if the Affiliation fee is not been paid.
