The ISA is delighted to welcome four new clubs to the ISA family.

Tarbert Island Maritime Club

Situated at the head of Tarbert Pier, Tarbert Island Maritime Club is located on the Shannon Estuary, midway between the Ocean and Limerick City and readily accessible by land or water with sheltered mooring nearby. Their members and their families interests vary from national advanced competitive sailing, rowing, swimming and angling. Sailors complete regularly with other in east coast clubs from Fenit to Galway and with other clubs in the Estuary and Lough Derg. They also compete in the West of Ireland Offshore Racing Assoc. Annual Championship in which one of the club's boat and crew was first in their class in 2003 and 2004. As part of the facilities for members the club can arrange tuition in seamanship, sailing, rowing, canoeing, power boat operation and swimming and provide information on boat trips.

Rosbeg-Portnoo Sailing and Watersports Club

Rosbeg-Portnoo Sailing and Watersports Club use the sheltered waters between Portnoo Pier and Iniskeel Island to encourage and promote watersports in the area. They have a fleet of Topper Topaz dinghies as well as a variety of other crafts to help revive and seafaring traditions of sailing, whilst also helping to promote the area as a watersports haven in West Donegal.

Galway Sailsports Club

Galway Sailsports Club aim to make dinghy sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing accessible to all the sea-sports community in Galway but especially young people and the disadvantaged.

Waterways Racing Ltd aim to run sailing events to promote sailing and boating events and activities.
