Seven ships will arrive in Dublin for the Dublin Port River Fest this Friday morning (30th May). They include three large Tall Ships; Gulden Leeuw (70m), Morgenster (48m) and Pelican of London (45m), carrying around 100 youngsters from across Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as four schooners; Irene, Ruth, Soteria and Vilma and a band of merry pirate actors to boot!

They will gather in Dublin Bay at 10am on Friday where they will be met by Naval Yacht L.E. Creidne who will lead them in a parade of sail. They will make their way up the River Liffey for 12 noon and will berth just inside the East Link Bridge for the festival.

All are welcome to join in the Bay, on the river or as the fleet pass Poolbeg Y&BC.

The ships will be berthed on new pontoons now in place on the North Wall Quay which will remain permanently and be available for all boat users going forward.
