During the end of November and beginning of December, the ISA Board, CEO, Training Manager, Racing Manager and Regional Development Officers held a series of five Regional Meetings throughout the country. The aim was to meet with representatives from Clubs and Training Centres to discuss local issues and initiatives, and identify priorities for the ISA to address over the next three years.

We would like to thank the 100+ representatives that attended for taking the time to meet with us. We really appreciated their positive input and discussion. If you were unable to attend the meetings you can view the presentation here.

It will probably come as no surprise that there was much common ground discussed at the different meetings which helps to reinforce the priorities for the ISA in the future. This report will be fed into the Strategic Review Group and will help to frame the ISA’s priorities over the next few years.

The Regional Meetings provide us with a unique opportunity to meet with club and centre representatives collectively, and for the representatives to interact with neighbouring organisations. Any further feedback or comments will be gratefully received. To do so email harry@sailing.ie.
