Dinghy & One Design Keelboats Convention

The ISA Dinghy & One Design Racing Advisory Group would like to hear from you, the sailors. We urge all sailors with an interest in the future of Dinghy and One Design racing in Ireland to come along, participate and contribute at our upcoming Dinghy & One Design Keelboats Convention.
Date: Saturday, 2nd of November
Time: 10.15am
Venue: JB Room in the National Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire

David Kenefick - Rookie Champion

David Kenefick from RCYC has been awarded the coveted prize of Rookie Champion of the “Championnat de France de Course au Large” which basically means he’s the French Rookie Champion for solo offshore racing in 2013! The prize giving will take place this December at the Paris Boat Show.

Considering David only tried shorthanded sailing for the first time last summer we think this is an awesome achievement and there's no doubt this 22 year old has a very bright future ahead of him.

Congratulations to Colin Gaffney (Driver) Lee Casey (Co-Pilot) and Sean Dillon (Mechanic) of Team 21 from Buccaneer Powerboat Racing Club and Irish Offshore Powerboat Racing Club who won Bronze at the UIM World Championship last weekend.

Budget 2014

ISA Powerboat Challenge

The Challenge will take place in Galway this Saturday and spectators are more than welcome to view the competition from the Oceansport Centre in the Docks.

HYC Laser Frostbite Series

Kilrush Fundraising for WOWI

This year Kilrush Sailing Club and the Royal Western Yacht Club of Ireland's October Series will have a new twist - each boat must have at least one female on board for each race.

The club has very generously partnered up with our Women on the Water Ireland (WOWI) initiative with all proceeds from the series going to Action Breast Cancer as part of this month's Get the Girls campaign.
