Minister Coveney Launches ISA SafeTrx

ISA Chief Executive Harry Hermon and Minister Simon Coveney officially launched ISA SafeTrx yesterday in Port of Cork. 


Cork County Council IFDS Worlds

Over 500 people have arrived in Kinsale for the start of the IFDS Worlds next week and this number will be boosted by the arrival of more supporters over the coming days.

The event will be officially opened on Sunday 25th August at 6pm in the James O’Neill Memorial building in the centre of Kinsale followed by a parade to Kinsale Yacht Club to present nation’s flags.


BMW J24 World Championships

Defending World Champion, multiple European Champion, former World Champion and past North American Champion are among the quality field lined up to contest next week’s BMW J24 World Championship at Howth Yacht Club which has attracted 42 entries from 10 countries. 


SBSS Review

The ISA is conducting a review of the ISA Small Boat Sailing Scheme and we are looking for feedback from anyone involved in the scheme, including course participants and sailors, through an online survey.


RNLI Fundraising in Dublin

Walk, cycle or sail around Dublin Bay in aid of the RNLI. You can start from Howth Lifeboat Station, Bull Island Junction or Dun Laoghaire Lifeboat Station and every one arrives at Poolbeg Yacht Club for free entertainment and refreshments.


Cruising Events in Dublin

There are an action-packed few weeks coming up for the Cruising Association in the Dublin area.


Fireball Europeans & Worlds

The countdown is on to the pinnacle of the 2013 international regatta season where five boats will represent Ireland in Portoroz, Slovenia.


Mermaid Nationals

20 year old Mark Boylan from Skerries took the title of youngest ever Mermaid National Champion.


"Discover Ireland"

Congratulations to "Discover Ireland Sailing Team" from Galway Bay Sailing Club who competed in the Fastnet Race 2013, crossing the line at 06.22.51 on the morning of the 15th of August coming 3rd in their class. A presentation was held in GBSC on Wednesday the 21st of August to mark the achievement.
