Sail for Gold Regatta

Annalise Murphy, Ryan Seaton, Matt McGovern and James Espey will return the waters of Weymouth this weekend for the first time since the 2012 Olympics to begin competing at the Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta. 

Also campaigning for the Rio Games and competing for the first time in the 49er FX class will be two new all-female pairings. Claudine Murphy, older sister of Annalise, has teamed up with Andrea Brewster while ISA Academy graduates Tiffany Brien and Saskia Tidey will be sailing the other Irish entry for the new Olympic class.


Solitaire du Figaro

Cork's David Kenefick has completed the first leg of the Solitaire du Figaro in 3 days, 7 hours, 30 minutes and 55 seconds leaving him 33rd overall.

Virtual ISAF Youth Worlds

With six weeks until the start of the real ISAF Youth Worlds, the Virtual event that precedes it has concluded the first of 3 x two-week-long stages and Ireland's Mark Hassett and his team from Schull are lying 4th Nation overall - just behind the UK, USA and Spain.


IDRA14 Build

Members of Clontarf Yacht Club have kicked off a project to build an IDRA14.


Munster Mermaid Championship

The Munster Mermaid Championship sponsored by Ocean Crest Marine was hosted by Foynes Yacht Club and a spectacular two days racing took place.
