The Royal St George Yacht Club is hosting a dinghy sailing seminar on Saturday the 23rd of February. The talk is open to all senior Dun Laoghaire dinghy sailors. Come to hear a variety of thought provoking speakers from 10:30am in the Royal St. George Yacht Club's Junior Room.

Noel Butler
Previous World Champion in the laser II, 8 national titles. Noel Butler is talking about psychology of winning, being prepared and some specific Fireball topics (circa 30 minutes). He will cover his story about how he came into the sport late and took a measured approach towards training to eventually win a world championship. If you came to the sport late in life and think it’s too late to get on the podium Noels talk is a must for you!
James Espey
An extremely accomplished sailor at international level, James represented Ireland in the last Olympics in the Laser class. James will share his top tips for going fast in a Laser.
Graham Elmes
Graham has represented Ireland in many classes including the Mirror, Sb20, Etchells, Firefly (team racing) and coaches Irish athletes regularly for success at international level. Following on from his very popular talk on starting techniques and the first third of the beat Graham will provide a revised version of this talk.
Fee: €10 at the door (does not include lunch).
Fresh soup and sandwiches will be available in the club bar at lunchtime.
